Hi Everyone, Last Thursday was the final Swing Centro event... a big thank-you goes to everyone who turned out to give this Thursday swing night a great send-off! Not only was it an exciting night with excellent turnout, but the whole event was caught on film by Channel 10 News, Tampa Bay's CBS affiliate... the story airs Friday (see below). Great News ...Swing Time's Friday-night live-music swing-dance events are back, at Centro Asturiano in Tampa! Back in 2000, we started these monthly events at Centro Asturiano, then moved them to the Gulfport Casino in 2005, and now they're back at Centro Asturiano. The next three events are scheduled for Fridays April 18th, May 16th, and June 20th at Centro Asturiano (see below). You asked for more weekend events, and we heard you, loud & clear. Come out and support these three Friday events, and many more will follow! For fans of the Gulfport Casino, the every-Wednesday Gulfport Casino Swing Nights continue and are going stronger than ever, with incredible turnouts each week! --Sam

CHANNEL 10 (CBS) FEATURES SWING TIME!
This Friday (3/28), 4-5pm

Channel 10 (Tampa Bay's CBS affiliate) will feature Swing Time this Friday (3/28), sometime during the 4-5pm "Life Around the Bay" news show! The show will feature extensive footage that Channel 10 filmed during last Thursday's Swing Centro finale. Check it out, and if anyone's planning to record it, I'd appreciate a copy. --Sam
