Tampa Bay's Swing Dance News for July 14th 2009

This Wednesday (July 8th), join us for the Gulfport Casino Swing Night, with Lindy Hop & Swing Rueda Lessons 6-7pm (this Wednesday, six levels will be offered! ...Level 4, Level 3, Level 2.5, Level 2, Level 1.5 & Level 1), followed by Swing Dance Lessons 7-8pm (no partner needed), and Swing Music & Dancing 8-11pm. Admission is just $7, which includes 2 Free Lessons and great all-around fun for all ages! SCHOOL'S OUT SPECIAL CONTINUES! Just flash your student ID at the door at this Wednesday's Gulfport Casino Swing Night, pay your $7 admission, and receive a Free Pass good for any upcoming Wednesday! The Gulfport Casino is one of the world's best ballrooms, offering up social dance excitement in a picturesque beachfront setting.

This Friday (July 10th) is Swing Time! at Centro Asturiano, Tampa's incredible vintage swing-dance night, with lesson 8-9pm and dancing 9pm-1am. Admission is just $7, parking is free, and all ages are welcome!

Every Wednesday in July, the 6pm Bonus Lesson topic will be Lindy Hop & Swing Rueda! Get Ready for Six Different Levels -- Beginning to Advanced -- of Lindy Hop (the partner swing dance) and Swing Rueda (the partner-switching group dance). Lindy Hop will advance, expand, and add excitement to your swing dancing! Swing Rueda will give you opportunities to dance your Lindy Hop with a roomful of dancers!
