This FRIDAY June 8th, Swing Time presents... SOCK HOP @ Gulfport Casino w/ original rock'n'roll artists THE IMPACS! During their reign as Florida's top rock'n'roll band, The Impacs recorded 3 albums and 13 singles on labels including King Records and Dick Clark's Cameo/Parkway Records. In early 1962, The Impacs were drafted to become members of Dick Clark's Cavalcade of Stars. This touring show featured all of the hit makers of 1957-1964. The Impacs became known for their own show AND for their ability to faithfully duplicate the hits for other artists. Artists including Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Jan & Dean, Ray Stevens, The Everly Brothers, The Coasters, and many more requested that Dick Clark provide the services of The Impacs to back them up when they toured the Southeastern USA! Today, The Impacs bring the party to the Gulfport Casino! Experience the excitement for yourself this Friday!

SAT June 30th, the Carrollwood Cultural Center hosts a Big-Band Swing Dance & Concert with live music by the Sounds of Swing Orchestra. Dancing starts at 7:30pm. Swing Time opens the event with a Dance Lesson 6:30-7:30pm. Tickets are $10-$14. (Mention Swing Time and get $2 off each ticket!...advance tickets/phone orders only.)
