This Wednesday, September 4th, is the Gulfport Casino Swing Night, with Foxtrot Lesson 6-7pm, Swing Lesson 7-8pm, and Dancing 8-11pm. Just $8 includes both lessons and the dance, students get $6 admission, and birthday people get free admission.

TV Show Films Wednesday's Swing Night — Dress up swing-style this Wednesday, September 4th, and come show off your favorite moves for the camera! A television crew will be at the Gulfport Casino this Wednesday night to film a segment on our Swing Night. It's for a new travel TV show called Here I Come whose hosts travel across the world and present interesting places they discover. Producer Stephen Friedman is known for his past travel documentary series Chasing the Sun which aired on National Geographic TV and Journy/Ovation TV.

Foxtrot lessons start this Wednesday, and happen every Wednesday in September, 6-7pm, at the Gulfport Casino Swing Night.

MODERN SOUL NIGHT happens Friday September 13th at the Gulfport Casino! Come dressed in neon and dance the night away! Dance 8pm-midnight to R&B, Funk & Soul hits from 2000-Present. Arrive early for a Cha Cha Lesson 7-8pm. Just $10 includes everything; students get $6 admission if they show up by 7pm and take the lesson.

Lesson Info — Learn Soul-style Cha Cha...how to Cha Cha to Soul music! This class, taught by Sam from Swing Time, will broaden your musical dance skills. Put these versatile steps into your dance repertoire and you'll be able to use them for most songs you hear at Soul Night. Want an easier alternative to West-Coast Swing? Cha Cha's an excellent stepping stone, and you can dance it to much of the same music!
